Like most members of the Craft in Victoria (I suspect) I much prefer a hard copy of our magazine. Should the decision to only provide it in the current format be irreversible I suggest we scrap the magazine altogether and reduce our capitation fee’s by say $40.00 per year. (4 copies at $10.00 each.) After all paying for a magazine we cannot all read can only be considered a waste of our money. From the point of view of the member the magazine is one of the very few tangible benefits of our capitation fees we pay to UGLofVic. Perhaps it could be replaced by a more comprehensive newsletter to Lodge Secretaries each month that could be distributed to the members with their Notice Paper.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, please please send the magazine in hard copy.
One third of the members of my lodge are not on the Internet.
And judging by the age profile of the total membership that would appear to be the norm,so effectively, in the dark. No magazine no information from GL.
It’s fine and dandy to recruit young men to join the fraternity, but we should not ignore our older brethren.

Unfortunately, the Spring Journal 2020 is only available as the Digital version, and no hard copies have been printed, we apologies for the inconvenience.

I found the Spring Journal very hard to navigate and read, I therefore gave up. Please revert to the old format
